Surrender

This has been heavy on my heart lately. The body of Christ needs to be maturing going into the seasons we’re going into. I see a lot of control and manipulation, which is witchcraft. From person to person, both in ministry and out. We should be controlling our flesh not other people.

We can’t control and surrender at the same time.

Surrender is laying something at His feet and walking away from it.. aligning our hearts with what He wants over what we want, knowing He knows better. Trusting Him. The surrender allows Him to move in our lives. If we hold onto it then we have to figure it out and this is where control and manipulation can come in. If we want His will for our lives then we need to surrender every area of our lives. Every part of our hearts.

Part of that surrender is going against the flesh where we “feel” like doing something, but is it right by God’s Word. Is the fruit that’s suppose to be growing in our lives consuming us or are the works of the flesh. Are we becoming more like Jesus…The fruit of the spirit will grow when we begin to surrender every area of our lives to Him.

I say all of this, but I am speaking to myself as well. All of us need to be walking through the purification process of being refined so we are ready for coming seasons to do what He is calling us to do. My prayer often is for the Lord to make us all ready! What we think we want, we may not be able to handle and will crush us if we’re not ready for it. Two years ago I couldn’t have handled where the Lord has us today with ministry. We had to learn the lessons, let Him expose things in our hearts and in our flesh that needed to be removed, remove them and repeat!Strongholds in our minds from what we had been taught all of our lives both in the church and out needed to come down and replaced with His Word. Where we’re all going in a few years we couldn’t handle it without it crushing us, if we’re not ready! My prayer for the entire body is for our hearts to be surrendered, repentent and willing to walk through the fire to refine us so we are ready for where He is taking us and we can stay under the mandate He is calling us to. Thé Lord told me, do the hard things and I will do the miracles! He will! ❤️

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
